I have been married for 31 years to Kyle Spivey. Kyle is the superintendent at Runge ISD. We have three children, Jacob, Jordan, and Julie. Jacob is the Agricultural Extension agent for Tyler County and is married to Melanie Watkins Spivey who is a teacher at Woodville ISD. Jacob also serves as pastor at Village Mills Baptist Church. Jacob and Melanie are the parents of my two beautiful granddaughters, Peyton and Charlotte. Jordan received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch and works as an RN for UTMB in Galveston. Julie recently graduated as an agricultural development major at Stephen F. Austin State University and will be working at Disney World in the fall. My husband, my children, and I are all graduates of Warren High School.
When I am not at school, I enjoy traveling. My family and I love to visit Disney World. Jacob and Melanie had a Disney wedding last summer. I also enjoy reading, playing the piano, and spending time with my family. I like to watch my nieces and nephews play sports and I love the Dallas Cowboys.
